Stripe Young Scientist Success 2026

Congratulations to Hannah and Caoimhe Quinn, 5th Year who were double award winners at this year's Stripe Young Scientist! They are Senior Group, Biological and Ecological Category winners and Intellectual Property Owners of Ireland Special Award recipients. 

Hannah and Caoimhe's outstanding investigation focused on the development of a cellulose based UV protective sunscreen and lenses, paired with a sustainable, UV awareness app. Their project combined science, innovation, sustainability and real world impact in a way that truly impressed judges. 

A special word of thanks must go to Ms Keith on this exceptional accomplishment- you are an inspiration to our whole school community.
